England lost in a terrible performance which saw them lose by ten wickets to a youthful New Zealand side. England batted first and got off to a brilliant start scoring 41 in the first six overs. Mustard soon got carried away and got caught at mid-off trying to drive over the top. Ian Bell was out next ball to a delivery that lifted and caught his bat on the way through to McCullum. A partnership between Cook and Pietersen dispelled any fears as the pair took the score to 85-2 after 15 overs. England’s progress was halted when there were a 2 and half hours of rain. Pietersen was out lbw to Mason after a long stride down the wicket. Collingwood, facing his first ball was run out going for a ridiculous second. Shah got a lovely ball which cut back to bowl him from Mason, Bopara ran Cook out and Graeme Swann followed. Bopara and Broad both got 23 but it was not enough as England were all out for 130. New Zealand were set a revised target of 165 in 36 overs. New Zealand comfortably got there in the 19th over as England dropped three catches on the way. New Zealand take a two-nil lead in the series with three matches to go.
I enjoyed writing this report for the bbc schools news report as it was about an interesting topic. We had to write 200 words but I did not find this difficult as there was a lot of infirmation on the internet. What I found most difficult was finding the right website with all the right infomation on it.

i really like your sports report its to the point and has many facts
I'm not a fan of this, it's boring. You don't make it interesting. Very boring.
I don't think this is a very intresting story.
because u dont understand it
i like yours but i think it can be improved
it didn't catch my eye
yours is interesting but i think you can improve it
what's this about
cricket
to be honest i think that you could have made this much more better it wasn't very interesting
it wasn't eye catching
you should extend your writing
if you made the text more simple and got to the main point it would have made it much better.
