6 Month Old Baby Survives 3 Story Fall

In Ludwigshafen, [lud-vigs-haaven] Germany, a small apartment burnt down. 24 people were caught in the blaze, burning down everything they owned. The fire spread quickly, mostly because the staircase was made out of wood. This trapped people completely in the apartment, making the fire fighters return to outside of the building. Families then had no choice; they forced to chuck their children out of the windows. Onur Calar, a 6 month old baby, was chucked out of a window by his father, hoping that his life would be saved. Onur fell towards a swarm of arms, people below desperately trying to catch people that were falling. A police officer in the swarm, dived to catch her, succeeding in his attempt. The police officer is now in shock and is also having counseling to deal with traumatic stress. The police and fire department have been rewarded by the local mayor of the town. Sadly, in the fire, nine people died. Five of these people were children and one was a pregnant woman. Around 60 people were injured in the blaze. Luckly, Onur Calar is fine, and is living with releatives, still in Germany
