Arsenal 2 Blackburn 0

Arsenal 2 Blackburn 0

Arsenal moved five points clear at the top of the table yesterday with a 2-0 win over Blackburn. During the second minute of the 1st half Bacary Sagna crossed the ball in from the right to Fabregas who disappointed his team when he took a bad touch of the ball. Arsenal got an early goal, a header by Senderos, thanks to a corner by Eduardo. After that Blackburn dominated for the rest of the first half with lovely crosses from Bentley down the right. They were no chances for the majority of the second half, apart from an Alex Hleb’s shot that deflected off the post and a 92nd minute goal when Adebayor powered home a short range shot into the bottom corner. Arsenal still have major players such as Kolo Toure and Robin Van Persie to come back from the African Cup of Nations and injury. When these players come back surely Arsenal will extend their lead over Manchester United and Chelsea. Arsenal is now at the top of the table leaving Manchester United 2nd and Chelsea 3rd place. Arsenal face Manchester United for a place in the F.A cup Quarter Final.
I enjoyed writing this because i have experienced what its like to be a sports reporter. We had to write roughly about 200 words, i didnt find it that difficult because i had the sources from the internet to help me. I really enjoyed being a sports reporter for the day
